She knows that he loves her,
Yet she wants it more pronounced.
While she works at home in silence,
Wants him always to be around.
This is the story of two love birds,
Who have almost done their day.
All their off springs brought up well
And groomed in the best possible way.
Now that the kids have matured and got
Their own jobs and their own future,
They have busy days with hardly a slot
To attend to their parents in good humor.
So their home is again a nest of two,
With ample time to be shared,
But the two have their own worlds too,
Yet they sometimes aspire to be cared.
So she wants him always to be around,
Not within eye sight must he be found,
But within audible distance he must remain,
Just for her to feel his presence, again and again!

Reading this, I feel it is my story! ! ! Perhaps this is the story of every aging couple with the children away and the nest, almost empty! The sense of loneliness heightening the need for each other! ! Enjoyed much!
'The sense of loneliness heightening the need for each other! ' - That's right! That is the case. Thank you for your thoughtful comment, that brings out the gist of the poem, @Valsa George.
