End Of The Day Poem by Herbert Dry

End Of The Day

Rating: 4.3

When at the end of my
closing day

Let not the sound of sad
music play

Let not many tears run down
your face

For this is a temporary
resting place

For there will be a shout from
heaven above

I will be raised by God's
eternal love

As I step into the light of
God's eternal day

I will watch the children of God
at play

It is here that I
will stay

And see Jesus whom the world
could not sway

For Jesus has said I am
the way

My friend Darwin Henry ('Hank') Beuning mentioned this poem and said it was very good. He was right. Nicely done.

That is a real good poem, and I will share that poem. I am so thankful God has blessed me to communicate with Christian friends through gospel poems. I rate this poem a 10, I would rate it even higher if I could.
