I saw raging water
pushing everything
its way like dozer
roaring scaring all
even my cat scamper
to highest ceiling
do they really know
maybe I see in their
cute tiny brighting
eyes pales to blue
we retreat to hills
still watching mud
rolled to gurgling
monsters, sucking
house, bridge, tree
trash were vanish
it did for long hours
then it ceded to halt
we deflate our lungs
count children no miss
we still thought we bless
