Eternal Soul (Sonnet) Poem by Mihaela Pirjol

Eternal Soul (Sonnet)

Rating: 5.0

Eternal soul, immortal you may be,
Through millions of years, many lives you lived:
You are the traveller in time with me;
On Earth, my heart by your presence is filled.
Mystery...though you are me, and I—you;
Yet, each time to Life reborn in spring-time,
No memory of past: —a déjà vu? —
Your spirit's essence is The God Divine!
To discern with human limitation?
In vain my life! —in vain my quest for Truth!
I know, and know not: confused sensation;
I to humbleness succumb: —that's my truth.
Therefore, I conclude: —nothingness I am:
In abyss I shall vanish in the end.

This could be, maybe, in the list for translation.

Love this so much! My never ending quest! How many lives have I lived before? What comes next? Etc. Etc. Keeps me pondering life's mysteries! Beautiful job with this one!
