EVERYDAY POEM-28
Life flows through ups and downs
Children grow up and fly to distant lands
But the umbilical chord that once bound them
Still feels the pain of her children.
The day my son went for a back surgery
I know how many times
I knelt before God praying and praying
Sitting thousand miles away from him
Putting all my faith on God
I was constantly praying
For his smooth surgery
I know, my God listened to my prayer
And everything went smoothly
My son is on the path of a speedy recovery
It is all by the grace of God
My heart sings in praise of Lord
And offer my gratitude at His feet.
