Every-One Ages gradually. Poem by Nabakishore Dash

Every-One Ages gradually.

Rating: 5.0

Unavoidable natural
phenomena are
birth, growth, maturity,
degeneration, death.
Ascending and descending
phases of life
till last breath.

Today's youth are
tomorrow's old.
Entry and exit criteria
of life cycle,
none can withhold.

Youthful vigour makes
one think to change the
world by mastering others.
This misconception must not
be nurtured,
no one can we alter if
the person does not intend,
better to change your-self.

Rejection of harmful thoughts
and acts, whether
young or old, is beneficial
for self and society.
Controlling self is power
and wisdom in reality.

Death is must for those
who are born,
smiles at us
does not warn.
Inculcating rules of etiquettes
long before death makes
a warmhearted, cordial man.

An eye opener for the young people. Youth does not lasts forever. Birth and death are natural cycle and all have to go through them. Thanks.
