Evil, Thart Never Sleeps Poem by Sandra Feldman

Evil, Thart Never Sleeps

Rating: 5.0

Don't have to bother
To climb
The stepladder
Of dreams,
Tonight
They are all asleep
Or dead, by now.
Dreams, I mean
For I have seen,
Lived the Scream
Looked too much
Into the stream
Of ignorance,
Torture and pain
Of coward's
Assassination
Of Truth
Of torture and human pain
To still be able to have faith
Quietly sleep.
And drain the moral stain,
Of History's bloody refrain!
The chocking lies
And inhumanity
That never Stops!
That never Sleeps!
