Express To The Heavens Above Poem by Bonnie Collins

Express To The Heavens Above

Rating: 5.0

Mother can you please hold me tonight
I feel so empty and need to feel your
warmth tonight

Remember the times we used to argue
about me picking up after myself, and keeping
my room neat, and always not to leave
the refrigerator door open! !

I will never forget the time daddy got paint
in my hair, my very long shinny red hair, and
I had a special dance that night, YOU washed
it so many times to be sure to get it out
AND did make the dance! !

Thank you for all the special moments you
did take for me, shopping all over for my
dress for the prom, how patient you were
while I tried EACH and every one on! !

Not to mention the Best Sweet Sixteen party
a girl could have, with all my friends from school
and the time you spent trying to keep it a secret
from me, that night will glow in my heart forever

Please know mother, I did appricated each
and every sacrifice you and Daddy made
for me from the bottom of my heart., and am
sending my love to you express to the heavens above......
