Fading Arctic White Poem by David Wood

Fading Arctic White

Rating: 5.0

Oh white arctic bear
Your menu is fading
Life is now challenging.

No more the Nimrod
Melting ice greets the day
Hunger fills the night

It echos through melting
Old ice as warmer days
Cuts the menu.

The hunger of loneliness
And of survival under the
Celestial dancing Aurora

Is a delicate balance in an
Environment void of pity;
Climate change has no friends.

Really it is a matter of concern. Unless we take some concrete steps the arctic bear will be an extinct specie soon. Nicely inked.

Climate change is indeed creating havoc and affecting the whole environment. So beautifully put the change in this thought provoking poem.
