Fairy Wings - Poem by hell fire

Flutter the tattered wings
of bats,
on frosted window
Gazing at the spectacle
through my half-awake ness
I consume the
stale left-over cornflakes
Fairy wings drifting
in my milk of goat
Beat the drums in my head
of last nights false bravado
I curse the sun
for it stole my mood
Dancing trolls in pink tutus
I just laugh at their clumsy feet
To hell with this
I am going back to sleep….

I love this because it made me smile and anyone can relate to it. I love the Dancing trolls in pink tutus line so much too....nothing better to do on a wet saturday, too early morning than go back to sleep along with the fairies dancing in de skies...smiling at you, Tai (Report)Reply
