Angels swim seas of despair
to find us as we walk amid the rain of tears
with umbrella prayers to protect us.
Long before we fall,
mother-like arms catch us
and pillow us to safety.
Never touch the fires of self doubt,
never close your eyes to hope
until a priest administers last rites.
I'm learning to love myself
and believe in you.
Always a treat, to find a new poem, written by your talented and truthful pen. PEACE
