Falling In Love Again
With a heart that has been broken,
one too many times.
Falling in love is not what I need,
so as I get that feeling,
of love tugging at my heart,
all I want to say is,
please help me, I’m falling in love again.
To many times I’ve cried
a million tears over someone.
I don’t want that to happen
once again, I just want
to turn my back on love,
but I don’t see that happening,
so please help me, I’m falling in love again.
The sun is out, the sky is blue.
Just when I thought
that, I had got over you.
I get that familiar feeling
way down deep in my heart.
Please help me; I’m falling in love again.
There is nothing I can do
To stop feeling the way that I do,
and I won’t be singing,
again old love’s sweet song.
To do it I might need some help,
to stop me falling in love again with you.
This is very nice, however I was reading the lyriics and it is an old song by each Marlene Dietric and then again in the early 60's only the title was Please Help Me I m Falling in Love Again....... Either way very nice.. bonnie

Lovely, and so true for many of us..........one can only be burned so many times...but, if like in your case, it's with the same wonderful woman day after day, than fortunate are you.....Myself, I love this poem, but not ready to risk going that way again.......more wonderful emotion from David...~~~~love, m.xox

sounds like you could make this into a good old country song.....they're always singing the blues...but I know someone who might pick list up as their personal anthem: O)
