Far From Reality Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Far From Reality

Rating: 5.0

In my dream there lies a garden,
Roses growing wild and free.
Where we talk away the hours,
It's our place just you and me.

There's a corner of that garden,
where the birds flock to and fro.
With an arch that's filled with flowers,
It's our favourite place to go.

We sit beneath the canopy,
of flowers you and me.
That dream is oh so special,
Far away from reality.

I love that precious garden,
In dreams it comes alive.
Created from the memories,
The ones you left behind.

A dream is far away from us when we visualise it in REM sleep, sometimes very happy, sometimes unhappy. However u depicted a good picture of your dream by appropriately chosen words.

Dreams are far from reality but sometimes they keep us alive. A wonderful poem well expressed.
