Flirting With The Waitress

Rating: 5.0

The waitress was quite pretty;
in fact, a lovely sight.
My wife and I were 'on the town'
a recent Friday night.

'If I were young and single, '
I told that pretty girl,
'I'd ask for your phone number.'
This phrase caused her to whirl.

She stared at me in wonder,
befuddled by surprise.
She gawked in silent stupor
as my wife just rolled her eyes.

At last she gained composure;
her smile grew and grew.
'If I were old and senile,
then I'd give it to you! '
