If you do not differentiate
Falsehood and truth in life,
You easily fall in trap
And illusion affects mind,
Ego is right at that time
When you recognize that
You are eternal soul
And you have values
With inner conscience,
Ego is wrong and false
When you think yourself
As a material body,
When you express name,
Fame, wealth, post and position,
Power, prestige and achievements
All things related to your body,
These dazzle with you till you have body
Or for many years after you leave body,
But finally these are perishable in nature,
Then, for what your ego is?
You have to remember this at each moment.
Acquiring divine wealth and values in life,
This is very important for every soul,
Surrendering ego and self before God is right!
God's grace and his knowledge both help us,
Doing divine perseverance at each moment
Soul can regain his own status and lead.

A powerful, insightful and wonderful spiritual write. It tackles brilliantly eternal soul and inner conscience and differentiates intelligently material wealth from divine wealth.
Your poems overflow with wisdom as this one too does, a great write
I completely agree with Mrs Valsa George's perceptive comment. Ego is definitely an illusion, a malformation of the mind, which separates itself from humanity. This is a great poem.
An egoistic person will never be liked by others! Only when we treat others with respect and begin to think that others are superior to us in one way or another, we will be able to get along with others in a smooth way! A person of ego will never be able to bow his head before God or man! A highly philosophical and inspiring write! A great message to all those who place themselves superior to others! A 10
A great philosophical write that gives knowledge and imparts wisdom. Wonderfully and brilliantly written.

Very great poem...the humble ones are those who fulfill life, egos are serpents in the lair of the heart, I really like this poem!
