Forgottin Love - Poem by shawn shreeves

wishing, wanting,
feeling, falling,
hurting, crying,
loving, hateing,
forever, never,
they're all the same
a broken promise
a forgottin name
so in this heart
never again
to feel this pain
like its been
you say it hurts
but love is lost
and pain is felt
you're not the first
you're not the last
to feel inside
the dying fire
of a forgottin love
