Fragments Of My Mind.... Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Fragments Of My Mind....

Rating: 5.0

Fragments of my mind
Are accompanying you
I have never had this kind
Horrifying me

Fragments of my words
Are accompanying you
I have never had this kind
Chilling me

Fragments of my love
Are accompanying you
Why are you so quiet now
No sign, no sound,
No passion, no love-bound

Fragments of my poems
Are accompanying you
At last, you wrote poetry
Or was it just flattering me?

Fragments of my love
Are accompanying you
Why are you so quiet now
No sign, no sound,
No passion, no love-bound

Fragments of my poems
Are accompanying you
At last, you wrote poetry
Or were you just flattering me?
Remember! You loved me!

a surreal picture; i don't mean the poem. the poem leaves questions unanswered! well, some will like the uncertainty is leaves in their minds; they can make up their own answers. at first i thought some 'accident' caused stanzas to be repeated, until i read the ending line. quite effective. bri :)

Thank you for your well meant responses, Bri and of course for your attentive reading. Most important matter in evaluating a poem. Thank you for your precious response. G.B.U. Amen
