Free Will - Poem by Andy Caldwell

God gave each free will
not every one will accept Christ
in fact the majority never will
at least not in this life we know
Jesus said every knee shall bow
don't ask me when or how
but what He said was truth
and it was absolute
believe as you will or don't
the final storm grows near
I am praying that you are one
to believe and overcome

This is lovely! So glad that it received the large and positive response that it did (I'm guessing perhaps it was Member Poem of the Day once?)
    Bless you for your courage!

Andy, I applaud and celebrate your belief in Christ. Jesus was the most selfless, loving person who has ever walked this earth. But there is nothing that would ever make me believe He is so vain as to deny anyone entry into Heaven for not praising His name. That is not the Christ I know. The Christ I know gave His very life for me. He is not vain at all. And I apologize if this seems out of sort but I do not think it is a good idea to espouse the idea that people of other faiths are wrong about what they believe. Its seems only hurtful to them. Christ was talking about bowing to God the Father - not to Himself. (Report) Reply

Good for believers to keep to their faith. The trouble is not with the unbelievers, but with ]
those who accept that other faiths should be excluded or suppressed. We saw it happen
in Paris recently. AM.3 December,2015, from India

An absolute belief will be heard throughout the world whether or not unbelievers listen to it! Great reminder of the Truth, prayer does conquer all within it's words. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn (Report) Reply

The last days are a coming when will they begin? Have you already repented your sin? The clock is ticking, time flies by, It will happen in the blink of an eye,
I have just written a poem on war, Apt for today I think?
