Freedom Has Turned Into An Illision

Rating: 5.0

Freedom has turned into an illusion
Just to be an illusion
We have created a desease
As we do as we please
The population will decline
Because they've drunk the poison wine
Comes too late to purify
To what we come to testify
A nation conditioned only to do wrong
Now we don't know where we come from

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I've never been free, politicians love to use the word freedom. But I have yet to see one define it. To them freedom is personal, I'll never be free as long as one of my fellow human beings are not free. 'thanks for your comment Suzan, on my Christmas thought'

Much like my country Philippines, but we Filipinos are still hopeful as others do that someday we can gain true freedom through bloodless struggle, optimistic that such freedom can become reality not just an ellusion. Regards -Marvin take my 10

Good theme...seems like it could be expanded a little though. :)
