From Five Letters To A Married Woman (Iii)

Rating: 5.0

he has a large nose or a small
appetite a taste for tinned pears
a gold watch a woman in chains
both sides of the coin and you. he
has a pin-striped suit a stamp
collection a nose for wines a
library of victorian smut
a running joke a standing joy
and you. he has the broken pieces
of the portland vase an original
big toe the pacific ocean the 8
wonders of the western world and
you. he has a buick riviera a san
francisco street-car a covered
bridge a calf with its head on
wrong but last of all the man
you married my darling has you.

Ouch that makes my heart ache. This was incredibly moving and well written.

She missed out Purdy. Don't fret. It doesn't sound like you are either!
