Gates Of Hell Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Gates Of Hell

I will play along,
With your childish deceptions.
However,
Do not use me for others to believe.
I approve of your lies told.
Or pretend if I am asked by anyone,
Questioning their validity.
A smidgen of existence,
That what they have heard from you...
Is based upon truth.
When honesty to anyone,
I have never seen you to make that known.
I will play along.
Since you should at your age,
Be much more mature.
And,
Until you become foolish enough.
To make me the main character.
Of your elaborate schemes.
With it intended.
To get for yourself more attention.
At the cost of my integrity.
And the expense of losing it.
It will be you not me.
To deliberately open the gates of hell.
Upon your lieing conscious to do,
Evil tasks.
