George Osborne - Poem by ANUSHA VIJAY

He was a young and handsome lad
tall and becoming of figure
A bold and daring warrior he was
and pleasing of manner
He had enough pride of himself
and more was the pride of his father
Who stood in awe of his only son
and spoilt him rather
He grow up a dashing young gentleman
kind and generous of heart
Wherever he went he always won
love and favour a lot
Among his friends, among his kin
he was the loved one
He grew up a rich and mighty lord
and poverty he did shun
Always his pockets were full up
and money he spent liberally
As liberal as the money came
he spent carelessly
He always ruled but never was ruled
a ruler of all hearts
Who did assert
his power a lot
With his merry and lively spirit
He set the house in motion
His good natured and kindly self
Won him lasting devotion
But his love for others nener equaled
The love of others for him
For he was not as liberal with love
As he was with money
