Glorious Sky Poem by ANDREW BLAKEMORE

Glorious Sky

Rating: 5.0

I rise with the sunlight
Of dawn gently breaking
And watch all the clouds passing by,
Like dreams as they move
As the morning is waking
I gaze at the glorious sky.

The sight of the blueness
Of summer such beauty
I watch all the birds as they fly,
The peace and the warmth
That I now feel within me
I gaze at the glorious sky.

The fire of the sunset
And colours keep changing
Now burning in scarlet clouds lie,
Horizon of gold
As the sun sinks so slowly
I gaze at the glorious sky.

I walk in the moonlight
When stars are all shining
With far away thoughts floating high,
I wonder in awe
At the heavens above me
I gaze at the glorious sky.
