Going Away - Growing Up For Mom - Poem by Gemma Rheeston
Now that it’s time for me to move on,
I will always love you even though I am gone
I’m not the little girl who they all once knew,
I’m strong, independent, and it’s all down to you!
I love you mom, I think you are great
I think of you as my best mate
Your always around when I need you most
Always there never the Ghost
I’m so lucky that you’re my mother
A girl could not wish for another
So please don’t cry as I depart
For you will always be in my heart
