Gone Poem by Sandra Feldman

Gone

Rating: 5.0

Like a wound that does not heal,
Is Death,
Taking away from our hearts,
The very breath,
Loved ones gone,
No longer can we arrest,
Life's lonely feeling of emptiness.

Very poignant Sandra. A hug and a kiss on the cheek for you! We are all mourning together right now. Loss is devastating.

As sure as another rain will fall, ignorance will guide us to our ruin. Death is an end, yet most excuse it with some hocus pocus and destroy the brief sentence that is life

Since man is mortal and death is certain as also every being born will definitely die are gospel truths, one has to accept the reality and continue living life though it appears to be empty in the beginning. Time has the power of healing wounds inflicted by longing / pain on one's mind. The poem is full of sentiments and touching. Thanks for sharing.10+
