Good Days Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Good Days

Rating: 5.0

I long to live those childhood days,
Play hide and seek,
And count to ten,
To laugh with friends,
To share our dreams,
I wish I was that child again.
I long to dance with energy,
With disco lights,
Upon the floor,
I long to see your smiling face,
Waiting there by open door,
They were the moments,
I never forget,
Gone so fast without a trace,
Apart from memories deep within,
I cherish those moments that's for sure.

I feel the same, your words here stir the depths of my memories and heart. I understand. I agree.

It must be lovely to have such childhood memories. Too many kids spend their time these days behind the screen of a laptop or mobile phone.

none is able to go back to the happiest past or childhood; life is the chain of going forwards; yet we hope to live in our happiest memorable past
