Grandma And Me Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Grandma And Me

Rating: 4.0

GrandMa And Me
(a memory)

I once had a secret place
alike a cute little terrace
surrounded by dense forest
trees are very many
delicacies are less

I never have to worry
GrandMa is with me
she cooks gluten free
and we drink fresh minth in our tea

we don't forget the squirrels
and have delicious acorns in stock
the innocent mice get nice eats too
we've brought duck's cheese from the zoo

this special cozy nook
I still remember
grandma cares for a small hook
to hing on candies upon

I once had a secret place
alike a cute little terrace
beneath a very big oaktree
in that dense thick forest
each noon we drink fresh
minth in our delicious tea
just we, my dear grandma and me
