Great Philosophy Poem by Ernestine Northover

Great Philosophy

Rating: 4.2

The cruise ship leaves the dock with all on board,
What a hoard!
The young, the old, adventure in their eyes,
Shout out, goodbyes.
Sailing away from land, to foreign climes,
Exciting times.
To rest, to play. How nice to get away,
on a holiday.
Relax a spell, and become someone who's free.
Great philosophy.
Soft sultry breeze, sun, sea and shore.
A wish for more.
So cruise along, and feel the days float by,
Let the heart fly!

I went on a cruise with one of my daughters once, and talk about 'soft sultry breeze, sun, sea and shore! ' It spoiled me for a long, long time for real life - - but wow! did I ever enjoy it...you bet! Thanks for bringing the memories back so well.
