TheSilent Loudness

Guilt - Poem by TheSilent Loudness

I know you just want the best and a day with me
But now something came up and I can't help feeling guilty
You'll say everything's fine, but I know how we stand really
You'll look at me and fake a smile, maybe we'll even chat awhile
But I know I let you down and that's something I can't allow
I'm sorry for being me, because of how it makes you feel

You say it's no big deal, but i know how you really feel
Please forgive me sometime soon, or Depression, I fear, will take me too
