With you I am free in paradise unparallel
With you I can breathe without restriction
No matter where we are,
No matter how fast we go.
I dance in stillness on your dashboard
Excited in the gesture of presence.
I love your style, the way your hair
Undresses in the wind.
The music we've introduced each other to.
My love language
The way your hand grips the steering wheel
Gravitating back to how far we've wandered.
One of the most loveliest things
I've known.
With you I am free in paradise unparallel
With you I can breathe without restriction
Sun kissed petals dyed in the sun.
I've drunk the smiles shared between you & I
I still don't know exactly how we got here
Or how to write home and tell anyone
where this place is.
When I've grown old & withered
I've made no other plans but to lay here
And dance my soul out staring into your eyes.
With the hope that you won't replace me
With another
