Hearing Aid

Rating: 5.0

My hearing aid
Needs to hear
That she is now
So much louder
Than quiet mind

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
It's tough enough getting old. But when you need a hearing aid...well...that's just too much to hear!

I had been meaning to write this one for a long time! ! ! Your poem had provided the impetus, but was not the inspiration. I've always acknowledged the poets/poems that have inspired some of my poetry! And will continue to do so!

This brings smiles! .. At least we can take them out and all is peaceful again... Endless 10'S And Stars! ..++++++++++++++++++

So true! .. And until you get used to them you speak in almost a whisper because your own voice seems so loud! ..

It's most definitely an unsettling experience! I would never wear them while singing karaoke because I would scare myself to death! And probably never sing karaoke again!

Very true, Richard. Although I refuse to admit I am old, my body reminds me on an off otherwise. Your brevity caught me unawares.5*

Let your mind remind you that you are still young...and watch what happens!
