Heartbreak Poetry Poem by Dawn Winters

Heartbreak Poetry

Rating: 4.3

Thunderstorms are the roar from someone who is torn
upset, angry, depressed you see
they've lost themselves,
they're in to deep,
they're on the edge of misery

their body aches,
their heart breaks,
their tears become a stream
as the rain falls,
the thunder calls,
the wind begins to scream,
this is mother nature's heartbreak poetry

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this poem the week after my best friend from early childhood had passed.. There truly was a storm and I was feeling imagery.

A well articulated thought penned beautifully with conviction. A nice piece indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
