Heavenly Crowns Poem by Danny Draper

Heavenly Crowns

Rating: 5.0

Whether flecks of stars or earthly made
we share the heavens ancestry
All mighty are life's kingdoms trees
that sprung from but a few seeds,
Some failed but others arose
to diverge and boldly reach,
To survive descendants diversified
and occupied every niche,
Some flourished and some retreated
but bravely explored the breach,
Every leaf and root unique
but connected each to each,
As historic tracing limbs
truncated or branched can teach
The endurance of that germ
from a vast distant primordial beach.

As the Beatles sang, 'we're all one, and life goes on within you and without you'. Nothing is more less important and all is to be cherished for without one, maybe a flower or an insect or a bird then the whole chain of life changes and sometimes fails. Great poem Danny :)
