Her - Poem by Nikki Lopez

They tell you to wait
It will all work out-you'll see
But how long must you wait
When enough is finally enough
Being the one who is always there
But never the one he loves
He thinks about her
When he spends time with you
When he hugs you, its her he feels
All the good times spent
It's her he wishes were in your place
But just wait is what they tell you
He will come to his senses
See that he loves you
But in the meantime
Your heart breaks
Because you know she is the one
He wishes were there
Not you
