Her And I: Our Tragedy - Poem by Skhy Cressell

Broken hearted I am; yet it was a mere kiss that strummed my heart guitar. Hurt but not is the feeling, but she was only a girl. However, am I not only a girl as well? Lips against lips burned goose bumps into my skin forever. I will never forget any of it, although I am sure she already has done exactly that. Hopeful regarding simply one anonymous meeting- may I never dream about it. Let me forget about it next time I wake. Lay myself down with the hope of amnesia come morning. Memory… what memory do I speak of? Gone.
