With a couple of shakes,
The cork flies in the air,
Exploding from the neck
Of the bottle.
A wild heart
Foams at the mouth,
Bursting in released laughter.
Soon your lips sparkle sweet.
The cork, reckless,
Twists through the air.
A wild heart whose only hope
Is to reach for the sky.
A soldier lost in the night,
Coming alive
To the sound of a flare
Erupting in the sky,
No longer lost in the dark,
Drenched in liquid glow.
Kisses are fleeting,
Everything runs over,
To a wild heart bottled up
With nowhere to go.
Soon, the sweetness
Dries on your lips.
You too, will have forgotten
Where it's whirled to.
