Hibachi In The West Poem by Manonton Dalan

Hibachi In The West

sizzling butter atop a grill
tip tapping cookware, twirling
naked shrimp bubbling sauce
steaming vegetables, colorful
scrambled eggs with fried rice
delicious, sweet and very nice

love that kimonoed geisha, gentle
cute smile, curling looks, wet lips
where did i saw one like this, wait
so many miles away, women with fan
silk slippers, they slide their feet
flash of heat from cooking, i'm hungry
