Him - Poem by Jennifer Morton

Day after day I see you
I'm keeping my feelings hidden from you
Their hidden by other emotions such as hate and depression
Because I know what you think of me
I know how you think I'm insane
And how I am just a 'friend' to you
I'd rather stay invisible than have to tell you
How your every word clings
How everything you do can make me smile
Any other person can make me smile
But it seems only you can make me laugh
But it's best I continue my charade of hatred
You lied to me
And I don't care much about that
It's the fact that I'm not worth the truth
So I'll continue to just act like everything is now when I see you
But I'll cry myself to sleep at night
All I really want to say is,
I Love You.....
