I trudged my way across the land
I tried so hard to take a stand
Doing what the good book said
Sometimes veering off the road instead.
Begging "Lord, oh help me please"
Felt my tears while on bended knees
Loving some so hard to love
Still looking to Him up above.
"Do you hear me, Lord, for I'm not sure
Life sometimes is hard to endure
The work is steady year after year
To keep this pace I feel the fear."
But I keep Him close within my heart
I truly try to do my part
I think I'll win, with His hand in mine
Yes, I do think I will be just fine!
A poem of belief and trust and love! , .......wonderfully written Marilyn

A testimony of your faith, appearing in poetic verse- - Lovely job on this! Inspiring, and rightfully deserving of Poem of the Day!
Has god ever actually spoken to you? Have you ever wondered WHY you Believe? The hands I hold are human I understand why Even how The majority still deny their own eyes As long as it leads to peace and love I am with you
