Wherever I go, whomever I am with
I know you are my home
My dreams are always filled with "what ifs"
I whimper and weep
Is it the same type of love you seek?
your love is my home
with you I am never alone
strong would be our fort
a home with love and support
I whimper and weep
for dreams don't keep
my heart from hurting
bandages stop the bleeding
but heart seeks for feeding
Your love, like a dove
comes flying in
only to whisper words that float away
you leave and my light is dimmed
but you will always remain my home
wherever I roam
and I wonder each day
Do you feel the same way?
