Honesty Hurts Poem by Marvin Brato Sr

Does it hurts to tell the truth
in disclosing the evil deeds
so there be light in darkness
covering those greedy hearts
lurking inside the faces of clowns
on disguise serving the brethrens
showing kindness so convincing
untill the victims are left for dead
right or wrong, the truth prevails
even so when friendship breaks apart.

Only those who tell the truth
finds solace in their hearts.

Disclosing may mean hurting
in the end it is the right thing
so stand and do what is true
hold on to the things that lives
on honesty which cannot break
no matter how much pain it cause
even you may sacrifice your pride
seeking for justice being denied
to the most vulnerable unfortunates
yearnig for love, care and equality.
