Hookah's & Hot Coals Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Hookah's & Hot Coals

I lit the top of her head on fire &
Took a pull from her mouth,
Emptying both heart & mind
In wonderous smoke,
The coal on top of her head fire red
My lips pressed tight to hers,
Longing to be more than physical
Jerusalem in a kiss
Bubbling in a room full of smoke,
My soul connected to hers.
I inhale again, feeling her travel
Down my throat to my lungs.
A caterpillar addicted to smoke
Finding love.
Smoke rings blown out of habit
Finding necessity.
Her soul bubbles, seeking oxygen
Confessing deep need.
Deep desire revealed between her legs
The end of a long hose connected in
passion.
Emptying both heart & mind.
I lit the top of her head on fire &
Took a pull from her mouth.
I've resonated in deep faith
I've exhaled in climax to the sight of smoke everywhere.
Content & free,
Kiss me again and stoke the fire
