Human Hearts Heal Poem by Heart of Ice Die Die Die

Human Hearts Heal

Rating: 5.0

Heart in two
soul in half
mind in pieces.
This is what
my life has become.
My world
spinning in chaotic whirlwinds.
People have forgotten
who
and what I am.
Whispers spread,
I can hear.
You forget
that I can feel too.
I'm not as frozen
and icy
as you like to believe.
What will you do
if I just stop taking your crap?
Never thought of that did you?
You say
I'm too filled with hate.
Can't even say it to my face.
Say it loud enough
so that I can hear,
but won't say it to my face.
Well, you know what?
Some scars
just never fade.
And mine
are deep and ragged.
Human hearts heal,
mine does not.
What does that say about me?
Guess I'll never know.
