This is not what I wanted
I'm not ready to die for you
I hope you realized that I love you
But this is more than I need
I'm not going to take the lead

I'm not going to bleed
For someone who can't find the need
For an I love you
But I knew you would do
What you wanted to
Even if that meant hurting me

This is not what I signed up for
I'm heading straight for the door
I'm not gonna stay here much longer
We won't be together forever
I know that much is sure

So what am I to you?
Nothing that important
Since you didn't even love me
But I loved you
I just wasn't going to die for you
And you were important to me
I couldn't stand losing you
