I Am. - Poem by Ruthie Wheeler

I am darkened and in pain.
I wonder if the world is really going to end.
I hear sad music playing.
I see angels fall from the sky.
I want to feel your sweeten touch just once more before I say good-bye.
I am darkened and in pain.
I pretend not to be hurt by you.
I feel lost an alone.
I worry that someone will find out about the love we share.
I cry when I think of you not being here anymore.
I am darkened and in pain.
I understand that our love can't be possible anymore now that your gone.
I say I don't need help, but nobody believe's me.
I try to get over you.
I hope we can be together once more.
I am darkened and in pain.
