I Knew It

That day
I knew it
In the bright sunshine,
I was really ecstatic,
It was true
And genuine,
But it did not last long,
After a while,
The situation began to change,
The sky became cloudy,
Darkness reigned everywhere;
In the unpleasant weather,
It became alien to me.
