I Love - Poem by Elisabeth Anne Wingle

When strangers say hello
Hot coffee on a cold morning
A baby's smile
Wrapping up in a blanket and falling asleep on the couch
Wading in a lake and feeling the sand squish between your toes
Very young puppies and very old dogs
Baking chocolate chip cookies
Porch swings
Curling up in a chair with a good book
Being outside about 6: 00 am on a summer morning
And Ho-ho's

An early riser like me! Not to mention coffee. Mine's black, no sugar and very, very strong. Choc chip cookies Wow!
We're not twins are we? I ought to be my name Tom meaning a twin. I love being out in the sun, lying on the grass in the garden with my cat using me as his personal sun-screen. A joyful poem and very well written ttoo. I liked the sand squish between your toes
