"I Love You"
A whisper fell in my ears in your sweet and charming voice
I looked around and saw none except a moving breeze
Leaving behind for me a pleasant fragrance of jasmine
It roused my memory from it's forced, long slumber
I could recognise the scent as that of the jasmine bracelets
You used to make for me during our school days
We didn't exchange any love letter for our souls were open
We needn't sing any love song for our souls were song-filled
A duet I had kept in my soul is still there for singing together
The solid vacuum that time created between us never tempted me
For a life without you, but I wished you would forget me and my dreams
The longer the distance I maintained the stronger your love grew
Now I realize that it was your whisper, "I love you", that the breeze brought
I understand that your love is everlasting and I regret my
forgetfulness
I apologize. Let us spread the jasmine-fragrance of love
By living to love and singing the unsung duet
Love never dies if it is strong and sincere! Though the union has never taken place, the sweet memories of the loved one lingers like fragrance of jasmine carried by the breeze. The feeling or realization that love continues in both hearts as before is an exciting thought! At least in the other birth, may you have a chance to sing that unsung duet! A beautiful love song!
Thank you very much dear poetess. Your appraisal and appreciation of the poem has again deepened my indebtedness to you. True Love is immortal. If unselfish sacrifice is it's food it will remain alive for ever.

Thank you Dr.Tony. We say 'God is love'. Let us modify it, Love is God. Then serving God is Loving others

Thank you Mrs. Bharati Nayak. Love that sprouts in our hearts has it's roots strongly and deeply fixedwhich will begin to leaf as the rain falls after the strong summer because love is eternal.
