I'm Hungry...
I'm hungry for something different now,
there's always a sacrifice.
What if lines become blurred?
Between a morbid sense of delusion,
or keen insight into the human soul,
for tragic beginnings impact lives.
Dare I be undignified?
Dare I show a damaged side?
Show uncontrollable urges, that
could even defy gravity its self.
Will the human savage resurface,
could my needs be evolving?
Dare I step into another's world,
never to interact with another human.
Will it lead me to a better place
another universe, another life?
I don't think so...

Dare I show a damaged side? ... too late now, my dear! It's apparent that you've mastered an expose of your imperfections... and in this damaged world... you are perfect! ... Well written dear poetess.. and a delight in the read...
Now this poem is releasing a deep hunger but not sure what to eat, ..dare I step into another's world? , yes, there is always a sacrifice but will human savagery resurface? A terrific write Annette! !
Never give up, rest or maybe retreat.Still keep writing, God bless you
(continued) ...as for your last line, nicely separated from the others: I, Bri, THINK SO.............but NOT to ALL of your questions; not to SOME earlier ones of the poem. i think you HAVE dared to show a damaged side. good! and i'd love to see you defy gravity! ! maybe even become an astronaut? to MyPoemList. bri :)
ok, i see no comments by me...yet. i'll read it. may i blame PH for its self? ? i'd use itself, though there could be other sentences in which i'd its self, but it would be a very rare event if i did. :) (to continue) ...
There is still hope for a great life in this world, just keep the faith, there is hope!
