I Refuse To Be Made The Fool Poem by Mona Willis

I Refuse To Be Made The Fool

Rating: 5.0

I see your face in my mind
I think of you every time
That I'm alone
And lonely
That I'm at home
Thinking of the one that I wanted
But just didn’t want me
Guess we just weren’t meant to be
You and Me
I thought we were destined
I thought we were so true
I was a fool…thinking I was in love
Was I sure I even loved you?
When you didn’t give me the time of day
You would just walk pass my way
You claimed to have feelings for me
But then you turned around and really burned me
I'm sitting here looking like the fool
While your set out to be so cool
And your going to rule
When you’re the one
Who couldn’t make up your mind
Didn’t know what was fine
Cause your just a boy
Searching aimlessly
You never were sure that you wanted me
You just were testing me out
Testing your options
Testing me out
Testing my heart
I want to shout
Cause You hurt me now
And you don’t even care
Cause you’ll got to sleep
With no despairs
While I’ll be crying my heart out
This is what you wanted to do
Make a fool
Out of a little girl
Just wanting to be in your world
No all that’s left is book unturned
Don’t try to come back
And make good with me
You didn’t want me
So now you won’t have me
And I
I refuse to be made the fool

I did not fool me..you can't say that when you don't know the full story..the poem gives you half the story...i did not allow it cause i i didn't know it at the time sir.

a boy will take you to the movies... a man will help you travel everywhere. you fooled you. the only thing he did... was mis-used you. which 'you' allowed.
